Privacy

• Account information, including the email address and authentication information handled through Supabase Auth.
• Invitation details entered by creators, including names, dates, venues, messages, design choices, images, section settings, Draft data, and Published data.
• RSVP responses, which may include a guest name, contact details, attendance, guest side, plus-ones, meal preferences, and a message.
• Guestbook submissions, including a guest name and message. An optional deletion credential is stored as a one-way hash and is not returned through public message responses.
• Guest Snap information, including the guest name, filename, file type, file size, Drive file identifiers, folder identifiers, links, and upload time.
• Messages sent to OURKNOT support, including the sender address and information included in the request.
• Limited technical information used for authentication, security, request handling, and abuse prevention.

• To authenticate creators and provide editing, Draft saving, publishing, and dashboard access.
• To render Published invitations and provide RSVP, Guestbook, Guest Snap, and other enabled invitation features.
• To protect public submission routes with validation, upload limits, and rate limiting.
• To investigate service problems, respond to support requests, and maintain the Free Beta.

Draft invitation data is available to the authenticated invitation owner through the editor and is not intended to be public.

When an invitation is published, its public link and enabled Published content can be viewed by anyone who receives or discovers that link. Creators should publish only information and images they have permission to share.

Saving a newer Draft does not update the public invitation until the creator chooses Publish or Update Live.

OURKNOT uses secure authentication cookies to keep creators signed in. These cookies are configured as HTTP-only and are marked secure in production.

The editor also uses local browser storage for limited interface state, such as whether onboarding has been viewed and a cached authoring-access snapshot. OURKNOT does not currently include a product analytics system.

• Supabase provides authentication and database infrastructure.
• Vercel hosts and delivers the web application.
• Google services may provide Maps content and, when an invitation owner connects it, Google Drive storage for Guest Snap files. The Drive integration uses access limited to files created or opened by the integration.
• Public invitations may request font or media assets from the providers identified by those asset URLs.
• Support email is routed through an email forwarding provider to the private owner mailbox. The private forwarding destination is not published.

Third-party services process requests under their own terms and privacy practices.

OURKNOT does not currently promise a fixed retention period. Information may remain stored while an account, invitation, response feature, support request, or connected integration is in use, or while it is reasonably needed to operate and protect the Free Beta.

Guest Snap photo files are stored in the connected invitation owner's Google Drive. OURKNOT stores related file metadata in Supabase. Removing OURKNOT metadata does not automatically guarantee removal of a file that remains in Google Drive.

OURKNOT uses access controls, server-side authorization, input validation, rate limits, upload limits, and credential hashing where those controls are implemented. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and the Free Beta may change as its safeguards and operating processes mature.

Do not submit passwords, payment credentials, government identifiers, or other unnecessary sensitive information through invitation forms or support email.

To ask about, correct, unpublish, or request removal of account or invitation-related information, email OURKNOT Privacy Support at support@ourknot.today.

Include the account email or public invitation link and describe the requested action. OURKNOT may need to verify account ownership, invitation ownership, guest identity, or other relevant details before acting.

Requests are handled through the support channel. No fixed completion timeframe is promised. For Guest Snap files stored in Google Drive, the connected invitation owner may also need to remove the files from their Drive.

This notice may be updated as the Free Beta changes. The effective date at the top identifies this version.
